At Pump House Designs our team has evolved into a highly skilled, creative practice of architectural interior designers, who have been working in collaboration with multiple high-end commercial projects for over a decade. Our projects have ranged from café refurbishments to high end restaurant fit outs nationwide.

Our approach balances creativity with functionality to produce diverse commercial interior projects to not only impress but also meet the client’s operational requirements. Through the design process we work closely with the client, main contractor and liaise with specialist consultants to supply a fully co-ordinated package.

The stages for each project may vary depending on client requirements but will generally include the following:

Initial briefing / Consultation

Meeting with the client to discuss their requirements, expectations and most importantly their vision for the project.

Concept Creation
Following on from the client brief, our design team will create initial sketches, mood boards, 2D floor plans and present samples to the client. This helps visualise and get a feel for the proposed scheme and allows development with the client to ensure the final concept is agreed.

Visualisation

Our team can provide a range of different style visuals from realistic full CGIs to more authentic hand drawn renders, to be unique to the project.
Detailed Design Development
Following on from the finalised concept our team will develop the scheme with more detailed drawings including lighting layouts, electrical plans, floor finishes, fixtures, and furniture. This stage will also include selecting and sourcing materials, lighting, flooring, wall treatments and furniture.
Construction Packages
Our team can provide full a construction package service, including detailed drawings and specifications that are used by the contractor to build a project, we can provide a full design package for competitive tender.
Site visits
When the project is live, we will attend regular site meetings and liaise with contractors and specialists on site to ensure the project is running as intended and assist with any design queries.
As Built Drawings
Once the project is complete our design team will create as-built drawings that form a package of drawings to document the final design, allowing a set to be kept for future maintenance or renovations.
